Highlights for April 25
The temperature was warmer, the breeze was but a whisper, so with very pleasant playing conditions our scores went — up. Huh? Well, for almost everybody who wasn’t named Peter Southwick, who shot a 39. Ken Han and Frank Lim tied for the low net of 34, with Steve Berry, Walter Kerr and Peter a shot behind.
While we didn’t generally have sustained excellence, we did have an impressive barrage of birdies. Ken Han had two: on 3 and 8. Jim Colantropo, Paul Marrier, and Mike O’Connor birdied 3, while Andy Rittenburg birdied 4.
