4-ball Tournament Results for June, 2023

June Tournament Results

Nine 4-person teams participated in the June 4-ball tournament.  Team #9 (Rick Atkins, Arthur Daltas, Ken Han, and Steve Berry led the way with a stellar low net of 25–8 net birdies and a net eagle on #1.  Every team member contributed at least one net birdie and Steve Berry shot a natural par for the net eagle on #1.  Each team member wins $25.  

Team #4 (John Breen, Karl Weiland, Dave Sameiro, and Arthur Barbera) came in second with a net 27.  Arthur Barbera contributed two net eagles, one of which was a natural birdie on hole #3.  Team members receive $15 each.   

Team #2 (Ric Magro, Walter Kerr, Dan Willey, and Ken Fitzpatrick) and Team #5 (Eric Baatz, Jim Kirk, Janice Savitz, and Andy Rittenberg) both had net 29.  Team #2 won the tie breaker with a net 4 on #2, the highest handicap hole.  Team #5 had a net 5 on that hole.   Team #2 golfers each win $10.   

Steve Levy was closest to the pin on #7, missing the natural eagle by only 2’9″.  Dick Fleiss was pleasantly surprised to find that his shot to 34′ on #9 was closest to that pin.  They each win $15.
