The Senior Golf League will resume on Thursday, April 3, 2025. We will begin recording scores on that date.  You can begin reserving tee times after 2pm on Monday, March 31.   The course will open on Thursday, March 27.  We are leaving it to you to book your own tee times by contacting the course directly for any practice rounds you want to play before April 3.  We play on Monday and Thursday mornings beginning around 8:24am. See the full schedule here or in the attached PDF.

WEBSITE AND EMAILS

You are on the Senior Golf League website. To access the website, click on any of the links in blue in this email or go to tsglma.org . The website is the best place to get up-to-date information about the League schedule, tournament results and other news, as well as pictures of fellow golfers in action. It is also a good way to request tee times (tee times) or to get in touch with us for any reason (contact us). Also check out the Search function! For those who don’t want to access the Internet, we will continue to send basic information via emails.

You can also use the website to request an email reminder to submit your tee time request.

TEE TIMES AND SCORES

As stated above, one method for requesting tee times is to use this website. You can also request tee times by email, but please follow the guidelines which you can find at How to Request a Tee Time.  In particular:

  • Don’t put in a request for a tee time for the next session until 2pm on the day of the current session.
  • Do put in your request at least 48 hours before the next scheduled tee time. After that we may have to return unallocated tee times to Pine Meadows for reassignment to non-league golfers.
  • Avoid sending emails with a phone-number as the return-address. You may not get a confirmation reply.
  • Be sure to include your name in the request as well as the names of any other golfers who plan to play in the same foursome.
  • Be sure to “cc” the emails of any other golfers who plan to play in the same foursome.  A lot of emails come into our email account. We may miss tee time requests if they don’t follow the guidelines regarding format and timing.
  • If you don’t get a confirmation within a few hours, please send another email. Messages do occasionally get lost.

Begin reporting scores by email starting April 3.  The preferred method is to take a photo of your group’s scorecard on your phone and send it to the league email address while you are still on the course. This ensures timely reporting and is the best way to avoid recording errors.

EXCURSIONS

Some of our members go on occasional 18-hole excursions to other golf courses in the area—usually less than an hour’s drive from Lexington. Let us know if you want to be on the list to receive an email whenever an excursion is scheduled. Tee times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for each outing.
